Funeral service for Refford Eddy, 77, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Bethsadia Cemetery, Revs. Larry Brown and Tim Nabors officiating. Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Eddy passed away December 30, 2017 at Cullman Regional Hospital. He was born December 30, 1940 to parents, Arthur Clarence & Jeannie V. Blackmon Eddy. He served his country in the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam and one in Cambodia. He was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Eddy was a family man who dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Truman and Buford Eddy and a sister, Mary Stricklin. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Annette Eddy; son, Griffin (Bethany) Eddy; daughters, Tammie (Shannon) Brown, Sonya (Blake) Morris; brothers, Dillard (Wilda) Eddy, Billy Ray (Barbara) Eddy; sisters, Hazel Kris, Charlotte (Garrold) Hamilton; grandchildren, T’aira (Michael) Ugarkovich, Tyler Gibbs, Chase Talley, Chance Talley, Calan Talley, Jordyn Eddy, Ty Eddy, Emily Morris, Trey Morris, Garrett Brown; great-grandchildren, Katherine Ugarkovich, Bryson Wright, Brynlee Wright, Emmett Talley, Spencer Gibbs, Charlie Talley; and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
