CULLMAN – The Cullman County Commission held a regular meeting on Thursday, with only three items on its agenda. All three passed unanimously.
Approved a three-year participation agreement with the ACCA Liability Fund of the period of Jan. 1, 2018 through Jan. 1, 2021
Authorized payment to the City of Hanceville for Mud Creek cleanup in the amount of $15,000. County Administrator Gary Teichmiller advised that this is an annual contribution to Hanceville for the cleanup of the creek, and commission members said the cleanup helps prevent flooding in the area. The City of Hanceville coordinates the actual cleanup.
Approved the renewal of a three-year contract with Pitney Bowes for mail processing equipment at a monthly cost of $568.53
The next Cullman County Commission meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. in the commission meeting room at the Cullman County Courthouse. A work session will precede the meeting at 8:30.
