JONES CHAPEL – An accidental shooting has claimed the life of a Jones Chapel man. Logan Wayne Trammell, 22, died early Christmas morning after being accidentally shot on Christmas Eve.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick said the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. at a private residence in the community of Jones Chapel. Trammell was transported to Cullman Regional, where he died of his injuries a short time later.
The Cullman County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances, and Sheriff Matt Gentry told The Tribune Monday evening, "That's all we're going to be able to release on it at this time."
