MONTGOMERY – Three Cullman County youths won awards at the Alabama National Fair Youth Beef Cattle Show on Oct. 29 at the 2017 Alabama National Fair. The show was sponsored by Alabama Farmers Federation and Alfa Insurance, and the judge for the contest was Tony Tolar of Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Austin Alexander won All Other Breeds Reserve Grand Champion Heifer.
Nathan Alexander won Market Heifer Division Grand Champion. Alexander also won a ribbon for Charolais Division Reserve Grand Champion Heifer.
Sydni Benefield won Market Heifer Division Reserve Grand Champion. Benefield also won a ribbon for Reserve Grand Champion Overall Bred-And-Owned Heifer. (Pictured above)
