CULLMAN – Daylight saving time ends this weekend. At 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, clocks will ‘fall back’ one hour to standard time. Don’t forget to change your clocks (if they aren’t set to automatically do so themselves) before you head to bed Saturday evening.
This is also a good time to check the batteries in your home’s smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Make sure all are functioning properly, especially heading into the colder months when fireplaces, heaters and electric blankets may be in use in the home.
Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!
