Hanceville’s Serah Hudson named 2017 Ms. Cullman County Fair Queen

CULLMAN – The 2017 Ms. Cullman County Fair Queen pageant was held Tuesday night in the Coca-Cola Theatre on the grounds of the Cullman County Fair. Below is a full list of winners.

Left to right:

Ms. Ally Peyton Knight, representing Good Hope High School, won the talent portion of the competition and was named first runner-up. Knight will receive a $2,000 scholarship (paid to the school in which she enrolls) given by the Cullman County Fair Association. Knight will also receive, from Wallace State Community College, a one-year scholarship in the field of performing arts for her talent win.

Ms. Serah Hudson, representing Hanceville High School, was crowned 2017 Ms. Cullman County Fair Queen. Hudson will receive a $3,000 scholarship award (paid to the school in which she enrolls) given by the Cullman County Fair Association. She will also receive a diamond pendant from Doug Doggett Jewelers of Cullman.

Ms. Averie DeAnn Harris, representing Fairview High School, was named second runner-up. Harris will receive a $1,000 scholarship (paid to the school in which she enrolls) given by the Cullman County Fair Association.

Ms. Gracie Alexis Thomas, representing Holly Pond High School, was named Miss Congeniality. The Cullman Lioness Club will award Thomas $200.
