VINEMONT –  It was a tough night for the Eagles at Mark Smothers Field on the campus of Vinemont High School when the Fultondale Wildcats rolled into town Friday night and rolled out with a 48-6 victory.

Fultondale was firing on all four cylinders on the ground and through the air. Quarterback Jayson Jones threw four touchdown passes of 30 yards, 56 yards, 21 yards and 7yards respectively. He also scored on the ground, calling his own number from 2 yards out.

James Adams Smith added a touchdown on the ground from 12 yards out.

The lone Vinemont score came via the legs of Dallon Dinkle when he found paydirt from 3 yards out.

Catching three of Fultondale’s passes was wide-out Nathan Dunnavant, who hauled in the 30 yarder, 57 yarder and 7 yarder.

Vinemont will try to get back on track next week when they welcome Addison to town.
