FAIRVIEW – The Faiview Lions Club is hosting its annual Labor Day celebration, the Labor Day Extravaganza, on Monday, Sept. 4 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fairview Town Park.

Said member Stephanie Giancatarino, "We will have a car show, parade, vendors, food, music and more."

Registration for the car show starts at 7 a.m. and vendors will be set up by 9 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m.

"Following the parade the town council will be doing a short ceremony. The details of that I can't say until tomorrow," said Giancatarino. "Peinhardt Farms is bringing their animals out, LifeSouth is supposed to be there for a blood drive. Bouncy houses for the kids. It's going to be a good day. Lots to see and do."
