CULLMAN – It’s time for the annual registration or renewal of homestead exemptions for folks older than 65.
Property owners older than 65 can qualify for an extra ad valorem tax discount on their homesteads, but they must register for it per Alabama law. To explain it all, Cullman County Revenue Commissioner Barry Willingham will be speaking at all area senior centers this fall.
