Other board business

The board voted not to make any changes to its salary schedule, holding pay at last year’s rates.  It will, though, be reviewing possible changes in salary deductions.

The board renewed its contract with Champion Sports Medicine to be the exclusive provider of athletic training programs for Cullman High School.  The company opened an office in town earlier this year, citing its relationship to the school system as one of its deciding factors.

Cullman High School received permission to explore the formation of a 4H skeet shooting team.

The Cullman City School Board’s next scheduled meeting will be Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. in the City School’s Central Office board room.  The public is invited to attend.
