Undercover operation leads to multiple charges for West Point woman

CULLMAN – A West Point woman is behind bars, charged with five counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest was made as a part of an undercover operation.

On June 9, Cullman Police Department Investigators Justin Craft and Eric Cole served arrest warrants on Tara Lynn Coleman, 34, of West Point for three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

According to the CPD, at the time of her arrest, Coleman had additional warrants pending. Once those were complete, Craft and Investigator Scott Sanford served them on Coleman at the Cullman County Detention Center, where she remains jailed.
