One of the people rescued from the house is being airlifted to an area hospital. County dispatch has revised the address to 1461 County Road 706.

Both people have been rescued from inside the home. The house number is being reported as 1461 County Road 717.

The Berlin Volunteer Fire Department has been called in to provide more water, and the Cullman Electric Cooperative is now en route. Reports from the scene are that two people got out of the house and told emergency responders that two additional people are still in the house.
CULLMAN – Firefighters from Johnson's Crossing Volunteer Fire Department and Cullman Fire Rescue are on the scene of a fully-involved house fire on County Road 717, across from Stone Bridge Farms. According to dispatch reports, two people are trapped inside.
The original call went out at 2:41 a.m.
