DODGE CITY – Cullman Police Department investigators on Sunday arrested two Birmingham residents on distribution charges.

According to a media release from the CPD, investigators Justin Craft, Scott Sanford and Eric Cole conducted a traffic stop at the Shell gas station in Dodge City on a vehicle driven by Deangelo Dewayne Lewis, 34, who police say was known to investigators to have multiple felony warrants with the department.

Investigators arrested Lewis on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. The distribution charges were the result of multiple undercover operations conducted by Craft, Sanford and Capt. Becky Boyd in which Lewis allegedly sold crack cocaine in Cullman.

Lewis’s passenger, Brittany Hill, 30, was arrested by officers Cole Kelley and Tyler Jackson. Hill was allegedly in possession of multiple plastic baggies that each contained crack cocaine.  She was charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Investigators Craft and Sanford ask anyone with illegal drug information to contact the CPD at 256-775-7179 or 256-775-7183.
