JOHNSON'S CROSSING – The Cullman County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 3-week-old infant in the Johnson's Crossing community.
Emergency responders from the Johnson's Crossing Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the residence in the 900 block of County Road 483 at 10:22 a.m. this morning, according to county dispatch reports. The dispatch call reported a 3-week-old who was unresponsive and not breathing, with CPR being performed.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the death of the infant, but due to the age of the child and the ongoing investigation, no other details were given.
