Updated 6-8-17 at 6:35 p.m. Kilpatrick has identified the victim as Samantha Wilkerson, 27, of Lacey's Spring.
VINEMONT – At least one person is dead following a collision between an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle in the 5000 block of County Road 1435 in Vinemont.
Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick confirmed the fatality. The wreck happened at approximately 2:46 p.m. this afternoon.
The semi-truck was reported to be in flames.
The road remains blocked at this time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
