Update 6 p.m. Troopers confirm one fatality in this two-vehicle wreck. Road still blocked.
BLOUNT COUNTY – U.S. Highway 278 remains closed as of 5:50 p.m. in both directions at mile marker 102, according to Alabama State Troopers.
A wreck involving a bus occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m., prompting the closure.
Troopers are not releasing any further information at this time.
