Attention Hanceville residents: City development plans to be announced Thursday

HANCEVILLE – On Thursday afternoon, the North Alabama Regional Council of Governments (NARCOG) and Main Street Alabama will be holding a special meeting in Hanceville to talk about plans for city development.  Both organizations help municipalities with long-term economic planning and development.

On Monday, NARCOG released the following invitation:

“The community is invited to attend a meeting to learn about the Four-Point Approach for downtown revitalization. This project will include discussions on design, organization, promotion and economic vitality.

Join business owners, community leaders and leaders from Main Street Alabama and NARCOG as we seek ideas for improving and revitalizing downtown Hanceville.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at Hanceville City Hall, located at 112 Main Street SE.
