GOOD HOPE – One person has died following a head-on collision this evening in the 2000 block of County Road 222 in front of Van's Sporting Goods. The victim is a minor, and was transported to Children's of Alabama where he has since passed away, according to Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.
The incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday and involved two trucks. County Road 222 was shut down for a little more than two hours, allowing for AirEvac Lifeteam to land and transport victims. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the road is now re-open.
