Anita Graves Terry, 65, of Hanceville passed away April 27, 2017 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. Services will be held 10am Tuesday, May 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Father Patrick Egan officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville.
She was born on December 8, 1951 to P.H. Graves, Jr. and Ethel Waters Graves.
She was preceded in death by her parents, P.H. and Ethel Graves and her only brother, Ronny Graves. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Laura Graves.
Mrs. Terry, known as “Nita” and “Ninny” is survived by her husband, Calvin Terry; two daughters, Jacqueline (Garry) Gause of Birmingham and Angela Reed of Cullman; one son, Josh Terry of Cullman; and seven grandchildren: Tiffany Harper, Josh Reed, Grayson Gause, Kendall Gause, Kielynn Terry, Bella Terry, and Briceton Terry.
Ninny, a retired nurse, loved spending time with her family, her horses, gardening, and painting. She was loved and will be very missed.
There will be a Rosary 7pm Monday at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
