CULLMAN – A local woman is an internet sensation this afternoon after she took extreme measures to get someone's attention and her antics were captured on video.

Cullman City Police Chief Kenny Culpepper says the whole thing started around 11:11 a.m. Monday morning, when officers arrived at Badcock Furniture on Cherokee Avenue near Lowe's to find a woman standing on top of a car, stomping the windshield out with her feet.

Culpepper identified the woman as 24-year-old Barbara Emily Lowery.

"When officers arrived on the scene, she was arrested for disorderly conduct," said Culpepper. "Possible additional criminal charges may follow."

WBRC reported: "According to Scott Sams, the man who posted the video on Twitter, the woman in the video was mad at the man who owns the car. That’s as much as we know at this time.

Sams is the owner of Freedom Motors of Alabama and offered to replace the man's windshield free of charge."

"If you notice in the video, there's a shovel," said Culpepper. "She began hitting the windshield with the shovel, but apparently that wasn't doing enough."

Lowery was booked into the Cullman County Detention Center.
