CORNER – Cold Springs, St. Bernard and Holly Pond are involved in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) track and field sectionals at Corner High School. Each is competing in Section 4 of their respective classifications. Their goal is to qualify this weekend, so they can be a part of the state championships for Class 2A & 3A next weekend at Cullman High School's Oliver Woodard Stadium.
This will be the third consecutive year the smaller schools in the state will battle for supremacy at one of the most recognized track facilities the AHSAA has to offer.
Through the first round on Friday, the following have qualified for the state meet.
