CULLMAN – A Cullman County man lost his life on Interstate 65 in Limestone County early Thursday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Dana Leland Chandler, 60, who was on foot, was struck and killed by a 2013 Peterbilt tractor-trailer and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The crash occurred at 12:25 a.m. on I-65 at the 338 mile marker, two miles south of Decatur.
Nothing further is available as troopers continue to investigate.
