CULLMAN – The administration of Cullman Christian School (CCS) gave its kids a special treat this year with fine and performing arts classes.  Students in the seventh-12th grades were given the opportunity to participate in a Drama Club that will offer a public performance near the end of April.  Pre-K-6th grade students were given art lessons, and their moment to shine is coming up this week, in an event geared toward offering the school family some fellowship and the public an opportunity to get to know CCS a little better.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, CCS will showcase student art at a special event, in conjunction with a Scholastic "Happy Camper" book fair and faculty cooking competition.

CCS Development Director Leeanna Smith shared about the event, "Pre-K through sixth grade got once a week art lessons, so we're going to feature that art in the small dining room area, and a book fair in the gym.  The teachers are competing amongst themselves for the best, most creative dessert table; so, when you come in, you get to sample all the desserts from all the tables and vote which teacher's table you like the best."
