VINEMONT – An early morning house fire claimed the life of a Vinemont woman. The incident happened at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 1367 in the Vinemont community.
Rebecca Self, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick.
Firefighters from the Vinemont-Providence and West Point Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the blaze, along with members of the Cullman County Sheriff's Office.
No further information is available at this time, as the Alabama State Fire Marshal's office continues to investigate.
