FLORENCE – Tom Hendrix, the man behind Tom's Wall in Florence, has died, according to a report from WAAY-TV: "According to family members, Hendrix was 83-years-old and died of natural causes Friday."
The Tribune profiled Hendrix back in August 2016, when he shared with us the story of the wall and his great-great grandmother, a Yuchi Indian named Te-lah-nay.
