Grass fire threatening structure on Hwy 69 N

UPDATE: 2:40 p.m. Cullman Fire Rescue is reporting that the fire has been brought under control. Multiple vehicles, between 7-8, were burned, according to CFR Public Information Officer Brian Bradberry. The fire also threatened an LP tank and caught a power pole on fire.

"Our crew and Berlin's crew got it knocked down," said Bradberry. "It was a pretty rough fire."

Firefighters from Gold Ridge and Fairview also assisted.

No injuries have been reported.


CULLMAN –  An out-of-control grass fire is threatening a structure at 1091 Alabama Highway 69 N, according to Cullman Fire Rescue.

CFR Chief Edward Reinhardt, Jr. is on the scene, assisting the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department.

CFR Engine 17 has just arrived on scene.
