CULLMAN – The Cullman City Police Department is investigating a report of a man allegedly inappropriately touching a 9-year-old girl at the north Wal-Mart store. The incident happened on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Sgt. David Nassetta is handling the investigation.
"We had a report of a girl who was touched inappropriately," said Nassetta. "We are looking for the gentleman to identify him and talk to him."
According to Chief Kenny Culpepper, "A 9-year-old girl told her mom that a man grabbed her on her buttocks as he walked past."
Nassetta says the suspect left the store in a hurry when the girl told her mother what happened.
The CPD posted photos on its Facebook page yesterday of a man they want to speak to regarding the incident.
