Registration for outdoor programs now open at CP&R

CULLMAN – Cullman City Parks and Recreation has several outdoor programs registering now for adults and children. Youth Outdoor Adventure, Kayaking Classes for beginner and intermediate boaters and Community Garden Classes are all open now for registration at the Cullman Civic Center or online at www.CullmanRecreation.org.

Youth Outdoor Adventure is open to ages 7-14 and will take place March 25-April 29 on Saturdays featuring an outdoor activity each week such as climbing, kayaking, hiking and zip lining.

Beginner Kayaking classes will be offered March 21-April 4 at the Cullman Wellness & Aquatic Center; all boats and gear will be provided. Intermediate Classes will be held on the Mulberry River for boaters with an active roll.

Community Garden Classes will begin in March and continue through October; cost is $75 for a 4’x8’ plot and weekly classes on Tuesdays at 6 p.m.
