CULLMAN – May 1-5 a group led by Northbrook Baptist Church Director of Senior Adults Wade Maynard will head out to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky.

The total cost of the trip, including the $200 registration fee, due at sign-up, is $499. That price tag comes with admittance to the Creation Museum, the Arc Encounter, the Cincinnati Zoo and the Newport Aquarium. Along with entrance into those locations, the fee also includes lodging, transportation via motor-coach and eight meals.

“Whether you attend another church, or just are a member of the Cullman community, we would love to have you join us,” said Maynard. “Along with everything else we will be doing, this is a good opportunity to experience the magnitude of the arc.”

Maynard says he tries to take a group to a different destination each year.

“The trip is something we like to do annually, even though we were not able to last year,” he said. “It is usually a different place every time, but we have visited the Creation Museum before. However, the Arc is a new addition, and we haven’t been since they added that.”

Maynard says he likes to take a trip each year, and tries to “make it fun,” while also having “some meaning.”

“We’re not going to visit a casino or something as a church group,” he said.

The deadline to register is the end of February. To do so call the office at Northbrook Baptist Church at 256-734-6401, and ask for Wade Maynard or Sheila Phillips.
