Keith John Kirk, 58 of Haleyville, Alabama, entered into rest on January 27, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence, Alabama.
Mr. Kirk was born on August 19, 1958 in Orange County, California. He enjoyed fishing, working on small engines, and spending time with his family. He was known by his family and friends as "Captain Kirk."
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. Brother Tim Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Sandra Kirk; sons, John Paul Kirk, Jonathan Curtis (Jessica) Kirk, and Cristopher Ray Kirk; daughter, Buffy Kelley; brothers, Kevin Kirk, and Kyle (Judy) Kirk; sister, Terri Kirk. He was "Grand Dad" to two grandchildren, Logan Kirk, and Braydon Kirk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Paul and Beverly Kirk; mother and father in-law, C.A. and Augie Estes.
