MOBILE – The Mobile Convention Center was rocking Friday night as fans in town for the 2017 Reese’s Senior Bowl were treated to a night of free, family-friendly, football-themed fun.

Droves of fans filed into the convention center to play some games, buy some Senior Bowl merchandise, and, of course, get a chance to meet their favorite players.

“It has been fun,” said tight end Gerald Everett from South Alabama. “All we have is a little fan day on campus so this is different.”

Just like in year’s past, the Meet the Players area of the Mobile Convention Center was separated into pods and sessions. Starting from the far-right corner with Alabama and ending in the far-left corner with Auburn, fans eagerly awaited the arrival of players whom they hoped would sign their various memorabilia.

Arkansas fans were also well represented as they waited in line meet tight end Jeremy Sprinkle. Rudy Ford and Robert Leff had the table to themselves as they greeted the plethora of Auburn fans that filed through the doors and the same held true for Alabama’s Ryan Anderson and Dalvin Tomlinson.

As the second session players walked into the convention hall, fans erupted in chants of Hotty Toddy when Chad Kelly made his entrance. The Alabama line was one of the longest on the floor with Alabama fans clamoring for the signature of first round draft prospect OJ Howard. Montravious Adams was the lone player at the Auburn table but Tiger fans lined up in the hundreds for his signature and a photo with the Auburn great.

In all, the fans fest was another huge success this year and it is one of the highlights each and every year of the week leading up to the Senior Bowl game.
