Memorial service for Arthur Theodore Nelson, 84, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman City Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Nelson passed away January 24, 2017. He was born March 23, 1932 to John Theodore & Frieda Coreene Hansen Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, two grandchildren, Christopher Jon Taylor, Madison Brittni Dunn.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Geraldine Nelson; son, Arthur (Sheila) Nelson; daughter, Valerie (Phillip) Dunn; brothers, Richard Nelson, John Nelson; grandchildren, Adrienne (John) Thomas, Rhyann (Chris) Granger, Cassandra (Chris) Barfield, Meghan Taylor, Gabriel Nelson Taylor (Gregory Hughes), Jana (Grant) Bitner, Katie Nelson, Maggie (Sid) Hackwith; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Mr. Nelson may be made to Cullman Health Care Center Christmas Decoration Fund.
