HOLLY POND – A two-car collision at Alabama Highway 91 and County Road 783 early Thursday morning sent two people to area hospitals.
Emergency responders from Holly Pond, Walter and Berlin worked the scene, where, according to County Dispatch, four people were injured and at least one person was entrapped.
The incident occurred at approximately 7:24 a.m.
According to Larry Smith with the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, the two vehicles involved were an SUV and a sedan. Smith says he believes the SUV t-boned the sedan.
The driver of the sedan, who was entrapped and had to be extricated, was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. One other person was transported to Cullman Regional via ambulance.
The scene is clear and traffic flow is back to normal.
