Funeral services for Ocia Marie Banister, age 78 of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Cullman Heritage Chapel with John McCoy and Tony Blackwood officiating; interment in Crossroads Cemetery.

Mrs. Banister passed away on Tuesday, January 17 at Woodland Village Healthcare. She was born February 21, 1938 in Cullman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Mary Pearson Sellers; two husbands, Howard McBrayer and Dorace Banister; and siblings, Clercy Steele, Ola Mae Shockley, Easter Miller, Christine McBrayer and Ory Lee Sellers.
Survivors include children, Shelia Wright, Carolyn (Larry) Schultz, Ricky (Alice) McBrayer, Benny (Rosan) McBrayer, Becky (Billy) Philyaw,, Cynthia Cueto, Vickie (Michael) Knight, Samantha (Steven) Knight, George (Denise) Banister, Charles (Phyllis) Banister and Dorothy Bartlett; siblings, Ima Jean Galin, Alton Sellers, Alford Sellers, Dolphus Sellers, Virginia Hollis, Althia Oliver and Thomas Sellers; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
