WELTI – Agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) on Thursday arrested David Keith Dotson, 48, of Cullman for trafficking in methamphetamine after allegedly finding 3 ounces of meth at his residence.
CNET agents executed a search warrant at the residence on County Road 750 in the Welti community where they discovered 3 ounces (85 grams) of meth. The suspect was placed into custody and transported to the Cullman County Detention Center.
“I am glad this suspect is now in jail and out of the community because of many factors but mainly because he will not be selling meth so close to an elementary school,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “I would also like to thank CNET for the great job they did on this case.”
Dotson is currently being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
