There will be a memorial gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Steven Dewain Parris, 56 of Hanceville.
Mr. Parris was born in Birmingham on July 20 to Charles Burl and Doris (Banks) Parris. He was a machinist. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Sheree Parris; his mother Doris Parris; two children Brandon Dewain (Tammy) Parris and Meghan Parris; three grandchildren Alex Thornton, Aiden Parris and Kiley Cochran; two brothers Michael (Phyllis) Parris and Mark Parris.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alabama Organ Center.
