Nineteen farmers from Cullman County attended the Alabama Farmers Federation 95th Annual Meeting Dec. 4-5 in Montgomery. Attendees and elected leaders set organizational policies and raised money for agricultural education. The event also included a keynote address from political commentator Dana Perino, who served as White House press secretary under President George W. Bush; presentation of the Service to Agriculture Award to Dennis Evans of Lee County, retired from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System; and a Christmas concert by Sara Evans.
