CULLMAN – The King Tribute Live would like to introduce you to Stephen Freeman; a worldwide acknowledged and awarded Elvis Presley Tribute Artist. Fans from all over the world declare he is the closest they have ever seen to Elvis Presley. Freeman is originally from Thomasville, North Carolina. He currently resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He served as a police officer and private investigator for eight years. Freeman’s tribute to Elvis Presley started professionally in 1998, and he has since performed in theaters all over the country.

Freeman has written, produced and starred in two plays about the life of Elvis Presley. Freeman accomplished what no other Elvis Tribute Artist has achieved. Freeman and his “Tribute to Elvis” band have opened for Charlie Daniels and Lee Brice and in 2009 Freeman won the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. Freeman was a finalist in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held in Memphis, TN in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Freeman was further awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Secretary of State of West Virginia and a key to the city of Charleston, West Virginia for providing his Elvis Tribute in a fundraiser for Medical Missions in the state. Freeman was announced by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. as the Elvis Tribute Artist Fan Vote Poll Winner, as voted on by fans from all over the world in 2010 and 2011. In December of 2011 Freeman was named Tribute Artist of the Year by the CMA’s in Charlotte, North Carolina. Freeman was further selected to perform on the official Elvis Cruise in Jan. 2012. While on the Elvis Cruise Freeman was also selected by the passengers on board as the preliminary winner for the 2012 Ultimate Elvis Contest.

Freeman was also contracted to perform for Legends in Concert in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and in August of 2012 Freeman was named one of the top 10 Elvis Tribute Artists in the world at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. While in Memphis that year, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. invited Freeman to showcase his tribute to Elvis at the all new main event pavilion during Elvis Week.  In 2015 and 2016 Freeman was selected to perform on the official Country Music Cruise with the Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, Randy Owen, Martina McBride, Gatlin Brothers, Charlie Pride and many others.
