Community mourns sudden loss of beloved resident, Brian “Cowboy” Ferguson

CULLMAN – The Cullman community was shocked and saddened today by the sudden passing of well-known resident Brian "Cowboy" Ferguson. Condolences have flooded social media all day, with friends sharing memories of the man who gave so selflessly to others, whether on mission trips to Haiti or here at home after the tornadoes of 2011.

Ferguson, 48, leaves behind a wife and four children. Donations are now being collected for them. According to a family friend, donations can be made in two ways:

  1. Checks can be written and mailed to New Life Church, P.O. Box 1996, Cullman, AL 35056
  2. Checks can be dropped off at REMAX BJC Real Estate, 327 Second Ave. SW, Cullman, AL 35055, Monday- Friday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Services for Ferguson will be this Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. at New Life Church in Cullman.
