HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College’s newly-formed Culinary Pride Club is hosting a Thanksgiving fundraiser.

The Thanksgiving meal includes a 12-pound turkey, three pounds of dressing and a quart of giblet gravy for $29.95.

Pumpkin pies are available separately for $5 and pecan pies for $6. Additional pans of dressing are $6 and an additional quart of gravy is $6. All prices include tax.

“We just started the Culinary Pride Club and believe this fundraiser is a good project to help us blossom,” said Chef John Wilson, Wallace State’s Culinary of Academy Arts Department head. “We hope to be very busy over the next couple of weeks, carving a lot of turkeys.”

To place an order, text 205-617-9240 or email culinarypridewscc@gmail.com. The cutoff date to place an order is Thursday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. Orders must be prepaid by check or cash by no later than Friday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m.

Orders can be picked up on Nov. 21-22 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
