CULLMAN – Election results are in for Cullman County, with a whopping almost 68 percent voter turnout.
All of those who ran unopposed have officially been re-elected. These include:
- C. Wilson Blaylock- Disrict Attorney, 32nd Judicial Court
- Kim J. Chaney- District Court Judge, Cullman County, Place No. 1
- Kenneth Walker- Chairman, Cullman County Commission
- Gene Sullins- Member, Cullman County Board of Education, West Point/ District No. 1
- Heath Allbright- Member, Cullman County Board of Education, Holly Pond/ District No. 3
In other races, Republican Wayne Myrex defeated his opponent, Independent Laurita C. Hogland for the Cold Springs/ District No. 5 seat on the Cullman County Board of Education.
