FAYETTE – The Bearcats found their footing quickly as they stormed the field in Fayette, taking an easy 17-0 lead to the half before handing Fayette County a quick 38-14 beatdown.

Ross Crocker, taking his place as starting quarterback for the Cats, came out firing, hitting his big targets down the field. All the Bearcats came out to shine Friday night, making defensive plays that resulted in instant points for the Cullman offense.

The game was done by halftime as the Cats took a comfortable 17-0 lead. The team only piled on more points, all while keeping Fayette County away from the end zone.

While Fayette County attempted to make a comeback, Crocker, Dawson Drake and the rest of the starting cast ensured that they would not give up this week’s lead, easily handing Fayette County a 38-14 loss.

It was an easy night of football for the Cullman Bearcats on the gridiron.
