HANCEVILLE – Wallace State Community College will host a health fair and LifeSouth blood drive on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Wellness Center on the Hanceville campus.
Held from 9 a.m.-noon, the health fair is free and open to the public. Screenings will be available for blood pressure, weight and body mass index.
A number of Wallace State programs will be on hand, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Therapeutic Massage offering chair massages. The Culinary Arts program will offer samples of healthy recipes. Representatives from Dr. Steven Skinner’s office will offer skin care tips.
The LifeSouth blood drive, Bleed for Your Team, will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Wellness Center parking lot. Donors will receive an Auburn or Alabama team T-shirt.
The Wellness Center is located on the west side of the Wallace State campus, next to the Tom Drake Coliseum.
