CULLMAN – The 20th Annual Sweet Tater Festival kicks off at Smith Lake Park tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 4 and continues Monday, Labor Day, Sept. 5. The festival will run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. both days.
Admission is $3 per person.
There will be live entertainment, food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, door prizes, kiddie rides and, of course, sweet potatoes!
The Sweet Tater Festival's 4th Annual Street Rod Car Show will take place on Monday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Also on Monday, from 1-2 p.m. will be a Tater Pie Eating Contest along with a Mountain Dew Chugging Contest in the big tent near the stage. There is no charge to enter the contest, and prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Children and Adult divisions.
