CULLMAN – A traffic incident on County Road 1763 in extreme northeast Cullman County on Sunday claimed the life of Anthony David Henry, 41, of the Cullman area. Two other people were airlifted to area hospitals.

According to troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the incident occurred at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday.

Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick pronounced Henry dead at the scene. "The victim was partially ejected from the vehicle," said Kilpatrick. "The other two people were ejected completely. One was airlifted to Huntsville, the other to UAB."

Kilpatrick said the car rolled at least once. He was not able to confirm if another vehicle was involved, but said that the rolled vehicle was the only one at the scene by the time he arrived.

ALEA is still investigating. Trooper Curtis Summerville is expected to release additional information once it is available.
