Funeral Services for Charles Reese Barnett, 77 of the Corinth Community, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Bethlehem West Baptist Church, with Tim Aris and Justin Barnett officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie-in-state at the church Tuesday one hour prior to service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Barnett passed away Saturday, August 20, at his residence. He was born in Cullman County on April 3, 1939, to parents Jessie David and Grace Wynell Horsley Barnett.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Virgil Barnett, Gary Barnett; and sisters, Retha Floyd and Marilyn Ray.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Barnett; daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Nelson; two sons, David (Connie) Barnett, Chuck (Angie) Barnett; grandchildren, Ethan Barnett, Justin (Joanna) Barnett, Riley Nelson, Levi Nelson, Chelsea Nelson, Jessica Nelson, Alaina (Andrew) Miller; and a sister, Sue (Doug) Spradlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International, Cullman Camp, P.O. Box 583, Cullman, AL 35056.
