Graveside Services for William “Bill” Henry Thomas, age 85, of Good Hope will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery, in Bessemer, with Rev. Wade Maynard officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home directing.
Bill was born on August 24, 1930; and passed away on Friday, July 29 2016. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. And is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert H. & lulu Lee Hobson Thomas, one daughter, Angelena Thomas & one son, William O. Thomas.
He is survived by his Wife of 62 years – Elsa Welch Thomas; 2 – Daughters – Teresa (Glenn) Murray & Tracey Thomas; 1 – Sister – Phyllis (Harold) Glass; 8 – Grandchildren – Jennifer Kennemur, Brandon Kennemur, Tommy Murray, Emily Murray, Zach Pate, Brandy Pate, Chris Thomas & Scotty Thomas; 5 – Great-Grandchildren – Aubrey Pate, Kyle Kennemur, Cooper Kennemur, Brayden Pate & Kevin Thomas; 4 – Nieces & 1 – Nephew also survive.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
