CULLMAN – With the school year fast approaching, Cullman basketball is giving sports campers a last opportunity to get in on some skills camp action. The Cullman Lil’ Bearcat Hoops Camp will take place Aug. 1-3 from 8 a.m.-noon each day in the Cullman High School gym.
The camp is open to both boys and girls ages 6 to 12 who are entering grades 1-6 and will feature drills and skill challenges focused around the fundamentals of basketball.
The price for the camp is $50 per child and includes the camp, a T-shirt and snacks each day.
The campers will be instructed by new Cullman High School Girls’ Head Basketball Coach Josh Hembree, who takes over the helm at CHS after nine successful years at Darlington High in Rome, Georgia.
