Funeral services for Wilma “Betty” Calvert, 80, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Minister Kent Persall officiating with interment in Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Calvert passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born November 12, 1935 to William Lewis and Clydia Mae Little Wilhite. She attended Church of Christ at Prospect. She was a member of the Cattlewomen’s Association. She was a devoted wife of 61 years and a fantastic mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother, William Lewis “Bill” Wilhite.
Survivors include husband, Edwin Calvert; sons, Matt (Esther) Calvert, Kip (Terry) Calvert; daughter, Suzette (Mark) Williams; brother, Gerry (Bonnie) Wilhite; grandchildren, Brandon Calvert, Alysa Calvert, Alexandria Calvert, Alivia Calvert, Alaina Calvert, Alexis Persons, Matt Calvert, Christopher Calvert, Marcus Calvert, Heath (Amanda) Williams, Austin (Nina) Williams, Tiffany (Rodney) Chambers; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
