Sandra "Sandi" Anita Baker Allen, 59 of Arley, entered into rest on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Sandi was born on April 25, 1957 in Haleyville, Alabama. She graduated from Meek High School in the class of 1974 and went on to receive her nursing degree from Wallace State Community College. Sandi was a very compassionate nurse and loved all her patients. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her life.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church. Brother Raymond Baker will officiate.
Sandi is survived by her husband of 36 years, Billy J. Allen; mother, Margaret Baker Millis; daughters, Christal (Chris) Cookenmaster, and Manda (Jesse Southard) Allen; brother, Chris (Cassie) Baker; sisters, Bonita Rollins, and Lageita (Danny) Harris. She was "Nana" to 4 grandchildren, Chandler, Chyla, Trynton and Adelynne.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Baker.
